Weekly Construction Update: 2/16/2012

This week the following work is expected:

• Preparations for plumbing work, including laying floor protection on floors 2 - 4 of 65 E Huron office tower.
• Removal of fixtures in selected 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th floor restrooms
• Open ceilings in selected 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th floor restrooms
• Open walls in selected restrooms and remove resulting debris
• Demolition of concrete beams and walls in the dock/cooling tower area of the lower level
• Continued work on pits of link and 65 E Huron building elevators

Next week the following work is expected:

• Ongoing opening of walls in selected 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th floor restrooms and removal of resulting debris
• Begin reworking and installing new pipes in the selected restrooms
• Any necessary abatement in selected restrooms
• Demolition of old limestone in area where cooling tower stood
• Continued work on pits of link and 65 E Huron building elevators
